YOUR ONE-STOP-SHOP FOR MILITARY AIRCRAFT SERVICE

Kitco, Inc. was established in 1970 in Provo, Utah, initially providing simple fastener and O-Ring repair kits for aircraft hydraulic, fuel, and related systems and later expanding into large aircraft structural modification kits and in-house mechanical assemblies. To clarify market focus, the company name was changed to Kitco Defense in 2006 and it has since grown to have global presence, becoming a leader in custom kitting and military parts distribution.

Kitco Defense’s core business is overhaul and repair kits for many types of military aircraft, supplying thousands of kits for U.S. Government, OEM, and overhaul shop customers, including many sub-kits designed to increase end‑user maintenance and efficiency. Kitco has significant experience managing make-to-print and commodity suppliers, controlling outside process houses, and inspecting complex items. Successful kitting demands the highest level of experience, supply-chain management know-how, and systems capable of tracking large quantities of components and kits with an endless array of configurations. Bill of materials range from ten parts to thousands of parts per kit and Kitco’s on-site engineering staff is available to help customers with problem resolution along with an extensive drawing library housing more than 300,000 OEM and U.S. Government drawings, regional technical library, proprietary data licenses, and technical assistance agreements.
